How Akuno works

Contribute Sunday to Friday. Results every Saturday.

  1. 1

    Choose your Circle

Circles differ by entry amount and selection style. Pick what suits you.

  2. 2

    Contribute USDT

Send the exact Circle amount from your own wallet within the weekly window.

  3. 3

    Results on Saturday

Contributions are sorted, and the pool distributed directly to selected beneficiaries. Verify it yourself on the blockchain.

Consistent rules across Circles

Different entry levels, same foundation.

When can I contribute?

Sunday 00:00 to Friday 23:59. Results, 12:00 noon every Saturday. GMT.

What counts as valid?

Send the exact Circle amount from your own wallet. Less is invalid. More counts as one contribution.

Where do rewards go?

Directly to the wallet you contributed from. Always use your own self-custody wallet, not an exchange.

Where the weekly pot goes
  • Selected contributor(s) 70%
  • Platform 25%
  • Charity 5%

Everyone contributes. One person walks away with 70% of the pot. So if 100 people each contribute 1 USDT, the pot is 100 USDT and that person takes home 70 USDT. Some circles pay out to more than one beneficiary.

The Blockchain Doesn't Lie

Every transaction visible. Nothing hidden.

  • β—† Fully verifiable. Every contribution, selection and distribution recorded on-chain. Check it yourself, anytime.
  • β—† On-chain charity wallet. Full transaction history on our Impact page.
  • β—† Borderless by design. Just USDT (BEP-20), anywhere in the world
  • β—† Near-zero fees. We chose BNB Chain so more of every pool reaches the people it should.

Use a self-custody wallet that supports USDT on BNB Chain (BEP-20). For example, Trust Wallet or MetaMask. Do not send from an exchange such as Binance or Coinbase as funds returned to an exchange wallet address will not return to you.

Binance now has a self-custody wallet but you have to make sure you are sending funds from the wallet and not the exchange. Payouts are sent back to the wallet that made the entry.
Each Circle shows its entry in USDT. Send at least that amount. Anything above still counts as a valid entry. Less than the entry amount will not count. You have to make sure the circle wallet will receive the correct amount even after fees are deducted. Invalid entries will not be refunded.
Entries open Sunday 00:00 and close on Friday at 23:59 (GMT). Results are published on Saturday 12:00 noon GMT and posted on the Announcements page.
We sort valid entries by transaction ID and then selection is made based on each Circle’s rule (for example, middle entry). The process is deterministic and verifiable on the blockchain. You can also export a ledger of transactions such that you could verify sorting and selection on your own.
Rewards are sent back to the sending wallet. This is why self-custody wallets are recommended, not exchanges. You do not need to request your reward if your entry was chosen, as this is done automatically on Saturdays.
There are no hidden fees. All you have to do is keep a small amount of BNB in your wallet for network fees. Your USDT entry should meet or exceed the exact entry amount shown for the Circle. Fees are so little on the BNB chain that they are almost non-existent. This is one of the reasons we have built on this chain.
